The Ponta Torres site was identified by the Investors as the best possible location for an Eco Estate Development Project on the Island of Inhaca.
It is recognised by the investors that the site has many features that require protection and preservation from an ethical as well as a legislative point of view.

The site is made up primarily of sand dunes, sloping steeply from the shore, covered in indigenous flora helping to stabilize them from erosion.  These dunes as well as the flora associated with the site attract and support many species of bird and animal life.  The conservation of these rely heavily on minimal intrusion or disturbance.

Ponta Torres, Inhaca is equally as rich in marine fauna and flora as it is in terrestrial fauna and flora, resulting in an all-round environmentally sensitive region.
